The purpose of this site is to provide an opportunity to share some insights on religious life and to provide an opportunity for anyone to ask questions concerning religious life. There are many people in the world who are seaching for something greater in their lives. That something greater may be Jesus Christ. We invite you to look into the possibility that Jesus may be asking you to rebuild His Church and to serve His people.
In the middle ages, Jesus spoke to St.Francis and asked him to repair His Church. Francis replied by physically repairing the churches in Assisi with brick and stone until he realized that Jesus was asking him to repair the inner spirit of the Church. The Franciscan family of men and women continue in the spirit of St. Francis and St. Clare to repair the spirit of people and to bring them closer to God.
As School Sisters of St. Francis, we seek to live the Gospel as did St. Francis and to seek Intimate Union with God in the Midst of Apostolic Service as did our foundress Mother Frances Antonia Lampel.
Intimate Union with God through daily Eucharist, Adoration and daily communal and private prayer.
